Technogym

The first ever treadmill controlled by Google Glass will be shown in public next week at the CES show in Las Vegas.

Using Google Glass and an Android based console the treadmill can provide each user with a personalised experience. The console lets you workout in personalised locations shown as videos on its screen, while performance information is displayed  directly into Google Glass. You can even communicate with trainer or friends using a webcam on the console using technology that Technogym calls UNITY.

The use of Android means Technogym can open its software up to third parties. UNITY is already compatible with MapMyFitness, RunKeeper, and Withings.
